YouTube API Key
YouTube API Key is used when you want to show youtube videos in native player in android apps. And OAuth 2.0 Clinet id is used in our OnLooker App to subscribe youtube channel directly from your android OnLooker app.
You can login into your Google Cloud Account by your Gmail id which is also registered on Firebase and in your firebase console your app should be added before go to Google Cloud Account.
To Enable YouTube API Key or OAuth Id you must create your app on firebase console and then go to Google Cloud from this link.
When first time you visit in your Google Cloud Console, you will see interface like the below screenshot
Select your country and click on checkbox then click on Agree and Continue.
As shown in the above image click on the select project then choose firebase project for which you want to enable API Keys.
As like above screenshot, search for- “YouTube Data API V3”, then click on the First link you get according to the above image.
As shown in the above screenshot enable the YouTube Data API V3. After enable go to Credentials Menu on left sidebar, then click on the create credentials -> API key, as shown in the below screenshot
It will start creating a YouTube API key as like below image.
Now copy the api key as shown in the below screenshot then paste it in your app or admin where you need.
We need this api key in our OnLooker App, so goto admin panel -> Setting icon -> App then paste your YouTube API Key and click update.
OAuth client is auto create for your this app project when comes on Google Cloud Console account. So just copy it from -> Credentials -> OAuth 2.0 Client IDs – > Web Client, as shown in the below screenshot
In OnLooker App you have to add it in, Admin panel -> Setting icon -> App then paste your key here and update.
Now successfully you have created your API Keys and added in the admin panel.
